On May 17, 2008, First Federal Savings Bank associates showed military support at a local event, Hooray for Heroes. We served over 3,000 snow cones throughout the day at FFSB’s booth along with giving a chance to win a $50 Applebees Gift Card which was available to all that came out.
It was such an amazing feeling to show appreciation for what is being done by so many for our country. This is the second year that the event has been held and First Federal Savings Bank sponsors over $2,500 to this. Hooray for Heroes is a local event for the community of Radcliff and recognizes everyone in the military, veterans and their families. It was a fun filled day with many local businesses and vendors servings food and drinks, giving away promotional items and many prizes.
