First Federal Savings Bank Opening New Middletown Branch
Donations being made to Kosair Children's Hospital during celebration
First Federal Savings Bank is opening a new full service banking center at 301 Blankenbaker Parkway at the corner of Shelbyville Road in the heart of Middletown. The new office will open for business on Monday, July 13th, 2009 with Grand Opening events taking place from Monday, July 20th through Friday, July 31st.
As part of the Grand Opening events, First Federal is asking the community to help us raise money for the Kosair Children's Hospital. First Federal will match all donations made at the branch during the Grand Opening up to $1,000.00.
The Children's Hospital Foundation exists to raise awareness and funds in support of Kosair Children's Hospital. These funds help support the hospital's programs and services in the areas of facilities, capital equipment, technology, clinical research, child advocacy, and health education of patients, parents, physicians, staff and the community. First Federal's CEO, Keith Johnson, serves on the Children's Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees.
The Blankenbaker location is First Federal's fifth location in Jefferson County, Kentucky, joining retail banking centers in Jeffersontown and Hillview, as well as a commercial banking center in Glenview. It is also the 22nd First Federal retail banking center overall, with other offices located in Bardstown, Brandenburg, Elizabethtown, Flaherty/Vine Grove, Fort Knox, Mount Washington, Munfordville, Radcliff and Shepherdsville, Kentucky, as well as in the Indiana communities of Corydon, Elizabeth, Georgetown, and Lanesville.
